Phyllis Annette (Mize) Humphrey

Phyllis Mize Humphrey, 78 of Knoxville passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022, at Arbor Terrace of Knoxville.  She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.  Proceeded in death by father Hurbert Mize, mother Stella Mize, and granddaughter Oliva Grace Henson. 

She is survived by daughters Jamie Humphrey Russell, husband Rodney Russell, Julie Humphrey Henson, and husband Tavio Henson.  Grandchildren, Daniel Russell, Dorian Henson, Ava Henson, and Jada Henson. 

Phyllis was a member at Clear Springs Baptist Church of Corryton for many years.  She was also member of the Red Hat Society.  Phyllis was employed at Arbor Terrace of Knoxville for 23 years where she devoted most of her time serving others through various avenues. 

There will be a “Celebration of Life” at Arbor Terrace on Sunday, September 25, 2022, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
