Nancy Ann (Slimp) Beard

Nancy Ann Slimp Beard, age 69, of Knoxville, went home to our Heavenly Father on July 14, 2021 at UT Medical Center.  She was born April 22, 1952 to the late Orville and Mildred McCarty Slimp.  Nancy was a loving, caring and amazing mother to her children and grandchildren.  A member of Sand Branch UMC where she would perform volunteer work and was retired from Knox County schools.  She loved spending time with family.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard David Beard; sister, Paula Slimp Diaz. 

Survived by son, Ricky Slimp; daughter, Deanna Beard (Frankie Burnett); grandson, David Yount; granddaughter, Amber Burnett; brother, Randy Slimp (Jamie); nieces, Trina Martin (Holly), Jeana Morgan and Keera Wolfe; nephews, Jody Slimp, Tony Slimp and Travis Wolfe; sister-in-law, Sharon Beard Simpson.
