Larry Wayne Johnson Sr.

Larry Wayne Johnson Sr. age 65 of Corryton, TN passed away Wednesday January 26, 2022, with his family by his side.

Larry is preceded in death by his mother Naomi Johnson, Stepmother Doris Johnson, wife Regina Johnson.

Larry is survived by his Dad Orville (Slick) Johnson and Alberta Johnson, sisters Jamie (Phillip) Johnson, Kimberly (Edward) Murphy, Linda Gilbert. Daughter Tishia L. Stark husband Corbett Stark, son’s Larry Wayne Johnson Jr. wife Conda Johnson, Patrick Wayne Johnson wife Rachael Johnson, His first Love Tammy Lynn Bolin, mother-in-law Letta Hensley. Larry was blessed with 7 grandchildren Makenzie Ward, Grayson Ward, Karly and Luke Ward, Logan (Alexis) Hillard, Jessica Chamberlain, Allie Davis. He has two wonderful great grandchildren Corbin Chamberlain, Karter Hillard. Larry also has several nieces and nephews and many other family members. Longtime friends Cameron Fisher, Gary Hobby, Billy Lindsey and a host of many other friends.

He loved racing and football and loved having fun. If you ever hung out with Larry, you had a good time. He was very adventurous in life and wasn’t scared to take a chance on trying anything that looked fun and exciting. He enjoyed going skiing in Gatlinburg with family and friends and going to the races with his son’s. He had a very caring heart and loved everyone.

The family will be holding a Military Service for Larry Wayne Johnson Sr. on February 9, 2022, at 2:00 pm on 2200 E. Gov. John Sevier Hwy. at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery. Service will be held in the chapel at 2:00 pm. The family would like to express their appreciation to the Baldwins Cremations. A special thanks to Teresa Grubb for all her help.
